Upload and validate your data
Export sales, product, cost and inventory data from your point-of-sale or inventory system as CSV. StoreTurnAI checks the delimiter, columns, dates and numeric fields before anything is processed, and tells you exactly which rows need attention so a bad export never becomes a bad conclusion.
Review the analysis
Your data is organized into retail measures — net sales, gross margin dollars and percent, inventory value, turnover, aging, shrink, markdowns and SKU rank — by store, department and period, with daily, weekly and monthly views.
Take focused action
Findings become a short prioritized list that names the category, store and reason, plus goal tracking so you can see whether last week’s decisions worked.
What happens to your files
You upload CSV exports — StoreTurnAI does not connect to your point-of-sale system automatically, and we do not claim integrations that do not exist. That keeps you in control of what leaves your POS and when.
Uploads are validated first: delimiter and encoding detection, required column checks, date and number parsing, and duplicate detection so re-uploading an overlapping export does not double-count sales. Anything that fails validation is reported row by row with a downloadable sample template, and you can re-validate after fixing the file.
The weekly operating routine
- 1. Load the week. Upload the sales and inventory export for the period.
- 2. Read sales with margin. Look for categories where dollars and sales moved in different directions.
- 3. Check inventory. Value, aging, turnover, and items with stock and no sales.
- 4. Work the action list. Two or three decisions with an owner and a date.
- 5. Review last week’s decisions before adding new ones — this is the step that turns reporting into management.
The reasoning behind each step is explained in the retail KPI guide.
